Building a seamless, automated, and integrated ecosystem to serve as a platform for SME Working Capital financing under a Revenue Based Finance (RBF) model. Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Risk team as a Risk Operations Coordinator. This role supports the Risk Operations Manager in ensuring the efficient execution of Risk Operations processes across the business. The successful candidate will assist with operational coordination, reporting, process improvements, and the administration of Risk Operations systems and workflows. They will work closely with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Compliance, Business Development, and Technology to support operational efficiency and data integrity. Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support & Process Coordination

  • Assist in streamlining Risk Operations workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Support day-to-day Risk Operations processes and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Risk, Finance, and Compliance teams to support assessment, disbursement, and collections operations.
  • Support the Risk Operations Manager in implementing process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Monitor business KPIs and Risk SLAs, and escalate operational bottlenecks where required.
  • Monitor pipeline progression and follow up on outstanding operational actions.
  • Assist in maintaining operational trackers and reporting across the loan lifecycle.

Partner Coordination & Support

  • Assist in coordinating with external service providers such as credit bureaus, data providers, and risk assessment providers.
  • Assist in preparing reports and updates relating to Risk Operations activities, systems, and performance.

Systems, Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Support enhancements to risk systems and operational workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Gather user feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of risk and credit systems.
  • Assist in preparing risk performance reports and operational dashboards for management review.
  • Support data integrity efforts across risk systems by ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Work with data and technology teams to improve reporting automation and reduce manual processes.
  • Assist with testing and validation of system enhancements and process changes.

Training & Onboarding Support

  • Support HR with the onboarding and training of new Risk team members by providing Risk Operations-specific training materials, process documentation, and operational guidance.
  • Maintain Risk Operations policies, procedures, training materials, and operational documentation to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and supporting continuous learning initiatives within the Risk Operations function.

Cross-Department Collaboration & Communication

  • Support coordination between Risk, Finance, Compliance, Business Development, and Technology teams.
  • Assist in tracking and following up on operational action items across departments.
  • Support internal communication efforts to ensure teams have access to the latest risk policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure Risk Operations updates, decisions, and process changes are properly documented and maintained.
  • Assist the Risk Operations Manager with cross-functional projects and operational initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Risk Operations, Credit Operations, Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, Operations, or a similar administrative/coordinator role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience using CRM systems, Loan Management Systems (LMS), and other operational platforms.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and operational trackers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and technologies.
  • Experience with workflow management and project tracking tools is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of process improvement and operational efficiency principles.
