The opportunity

As our technology and product at Emmi mature, we are entering our next phase of commercial growth. We have shown a clear ROI to our early customers and are now working to turn our GTM activities into a scalable and repeatable playbook. We're ready to expand beyond inbound interest and build a strategic outbound motion. We're establishing growth initiatives to reach customers, as well as the research community, proactively and position Emmi as the leading name in AI for engineering. We're building and selling something that has never existed before, so this role is your chance to shape the playbook from the ground up and leave a lasting mark on how AI enters the engineering & simulation industry.

Your Core Mission:

We will dynamically adapt you’re priorities and responsibilities together based on your interest and successes, but they will likely center around the following:

  • Growth activities and strategy: Help develop our growth strategy and meet our goals through launching diverse campaigns to drive leads and engage with the AI4Engineering community (e.g. conferences, meet-ups, our blog or webinars). Coordinate with external partners such as agencies and media partners to bring campaigns to life, and establish clear metrics and reporting frameworks to measure channel effectiveness and ROI.

  • Product marketing and positioning: Testing which "hooks" or value propositions work best with real customers and feeding that back to the our marketing strategy.

  • Enterprise and partner sales: Support highly strategic customer and partner sales end-to-end, incl. contracts requiring complex business terms, professional service commitments or revenue share. Work closely with diverse internal teams involved in these opportunities (Research, Product, Finance, …).

  • Sales enablement: Create the internal tools and products that our team can use to streamline customer interactions, such as pitch decks, case studies, and frameworks.

  • Brand and corporate identity: Continuously evolve and sharpen Emmi's brand to reflect our position as a frontier technology company. Ensure visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging stay ahead of the curve and resonate with both engineering and AI audiences. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external creative partners to maintain consistency and quality across all touchpoints.

Job requirements

  • You’re technically curious and comfortable in a room full of scientists, with a natural drive to understand complex technological challenges at a deep level.

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, marketing, or partnerships, focused on B2B and deep-tech products, with proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

  • You’re a high-agency person: you take end-to-end ownership, identify problems yourself, execute solutions quickly, iterate, and don’t stop until the problem is fully solved.

  • You communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders and build strong, trusting relationships with customers across industrial sectors.

  • You’re excited to gain a strong understanding of deep learning and engineering workflows to engage in technical discussions with partners and internal teams. You can strategize on tackling real-world industrial problems using our team’s state-of-the-art ML approaches and AI models.

  • You’re especially excited about at least some of the following topics:

    • Shipping and scaling top-of-funnel experiments (distribution, channels, formats)

    • Shaping our narrative at the intersection of AI, engineering, and simulation

    • Building real engineering and physics simulation expertise—working closely with customers, building trusted relationships, and influencing stakeholders at all levels

  • Fluency in English is required; French and/or German are highly recommended.

Nice to have

  • Experience writing code, implementing deep learning algorithms, or working with cloud infrastructure.

  • You use AI tools daily and continously optimize your own setup.

  • Background in mechanical engineering or physics.
