About Us
Due is building a new payments platform that leverages the latest advancements in blockchain tech / crypto. Today business and consumer payments are dominated by an oligopoly of card schemes working on top of a legacy banking system. We want to challenge this status quo and build a stack of payment solutions, that would allow for permissionless, self-sovereign, global and frictionless payments.
A lot of the things we are building are experimental and haven’t yet been adopted by retail customers or businesses. Our job is to build the best product based on the latest tech and bring adoption both on the consumer and merchant side of payments.
Due is a London-based company founded in Sep 2022 with fresh Seed funding from top-tier crypto and fintech investors. We are launching our product in Brazil and looking for a Country Manager to lead our efforts in the market.
About the Role
As the Country Manager for the Brazilian market, you will be a jack of all trades, responsible for launching our product in the country, growing our business, and helping us build the best product for the market.
What will you be doing:
Conducting market research to understand customer needs and pain-points in Brazil
Launching our product in the Brazilian market
Building and managing a local team to support our growth in the region
Establishing and managing large PSP partnerships and building direct sales and digital growth channels
Develop and execute a growth and marketing strategy from the ground up, targeting user acquisition, activation, and retention
Working closely with our Product team to adapt the product for local markets
Spearheading efforts to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements
Identifying and pursuing opportunities for leveraging crypto rails in the market
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in payments, fintech, or related industries
Interest in crypto payments / stablecoins / cross-border finance
Strong entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to wear multiple hats
Strong sales / communications skills
Excellent leadership, team-building, and management skills
Fluent in English and Portuguese
Nice to Have
Prior experience in blockchain or crypto projects
Familiarity with the Latam payments landscape
Established network in the payments, fintech, or crypto industries
