A bit about us

We’re Doccla, the virtual ward company. We provide patients and clinicians with the transformative power of remote patient monitoring.

Our existing customers are Hospitals, Community Services, and NHS Commissioners that we partner with to deliver tech enabled virtual wards. With our technology, logistics, and support patients can be discharged from a hospital ward to a virtual one and recover in the comfort of their own homes. Patients love our care pathways and health services become more efficient; it’s a win-win.

We are a young company with big aims and a lot of momentum. In the summer of 2022 we raised $18M in an oversubscribed A round led by General Catalyst, a top tier global VC fund and have gone from strength to strength since: we’ve won a series of large multiyear NHS contracts, extended 100% of our existing client contracts.

This is your chance to join us at a key stage of our growth. Our ambition is to be a category leader for virtual healthcare. You will be joining a highly entrepreneurial team that combines technical, clinical, operational, and commercial colleagues.

We're solving real problems for patients and health systems. we’re looking for dedicated people with a passion for healthcare.

Role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to found and lead our marketing team, reporting into the Chief Revenue Officer.

As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy and brand building to influence, understand, and improve all steps of the customer journey. This role offers a huge chance to shape how we market Doccla and potentially to build a team around you in the future.

This is a hands-on role; we're a small team and we all pull together to make great things happen. That said, you're a strategic thinker having done this before and can keep your eye on the strategy and end goal, while making sure campaigns and projects are delivered on time and to budget.

In this role you will

  • Design and plan Doccla’s marketing as well as leverage internal and external resources (including your own first class efforts) to execute on these plans. We expect this will include:

    • Content marketing

    • Case advocacy incl. case studies, white papers, blogs, etc.

    • PR

    • Paid advertising

    • Marketing and PR alongside customers

  • Quantify and assess the performance of marketing activities to continuously improve our approach.

  • Give strategic input into Doccla’s brand, voice, and positioning.

  • Undertake and maintain Doccla’s market reviews and competitive analysis to understand Doccla’s position within the wider virtual wards market.

  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds appropriately and responsibly.

Requirements

All applicants must

  • Have at least 3 years experience marketing at a scale-up or growth focussed agency

  • Have the ability to grasp and internalise complex products and processes

  • Have exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational skills in order to manage the work of others.

  • Be able to write clear, creative and engaging copy in order to produce work as an individual contributor.

  • Be passionate about healthcare and improvements in patient experience.

  • Have the analytical skill set and experience to quantify and analyse the effectiveness of Doccla’s marketing efforts e.g. define KPIs, measure campaign performance, produce campaign reports, etc.

Please also share with us if you

  • Have experience marketing within the healthcare industry, ideally to the NHS or the Pharma Industry.

  • Have previously managed teams or a marketing agency.

  • Have recent experience of delivering as an individual contributor.

Our team is remote first with offices in London and Stockholm. Most of the team lives in and around London and visits the office one to three times per week to enjoy in person meetings, free lunch with the team, and the general perks of a WeWork. The extent of remote vs office working will depend on your role, as some roles have the flexibility to be fully remote.

We have an employee equity pool that you can be part of so that as the company continues to grow you’ll have a share in its success.

Some of our employee benefits include

  • 25 days of annual leave and up to 8 bank holidays per year 🌴
  • Employee Share Options 📈
  • Onsite Team Lunches 🌱
  • Wellbeing budget, from a massage to healthy food deliveries 🧘
