A bit about us

We’re Doccla, the virtual ward company. We provide patients and clinicians with the transformative power of remote patient monitoring.

Our existing customers are Hospitals, Community Services, and NHS Commissioners that we partner with to deliver tech enabled virtual wards. With our technology, logistics, and support patients can be discharged from a hospital ward to a virtual one and recover in the comfort of their own homes. Patients love our care pathways and health services become more efficient; it’s a win-win.

We are a young company with big aims and a lot of momentum. In the summer of 2022 we raised $18M in an oversubscribed A round led by General Catalyst, a top tier global VC fund and have gone from strength to strength since: we’ve won a series of large multiyear NHS contracts, extended 100% of our existing client contracts.

The Role

You will be an integral member of the Commercial Team, supporting on the full spectrum of Commercial activities, largely focussing on special projects and bids.
That means creating new value propositions and business lines, conducting market research, creating financial models, pitching to clients and helping to project manage deals through from lead generation to signed contract.
The role will be flexible, and you will need to be able to help simplify complexity and ensure Doccla is always focused on delivering maximum value for our patient and clinicians.

You will have excellent exposure to a (very) fast-growing business as we scale across Europe, with a chance to influence commercial strategy as you become immersed in the European healthcare landscape.

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Are an entrepreneur at heart, and love working in ambiguous, changing, energetic, start-up working environment.
- Are intellectually curious, constantly refining how to be best-in-class, and wanting to learn, improve and develop yourself.
- Are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and can simplify complex topics in a way that anyone can understand – for team commercial, that includes understanding the financials behind potential deals and contracts.
- Get things done and are willing to step up, roll up your sleeves and take ownership.
- Always operate with high integrity, high emotional awareness, and subscribe to Doccla’s values.
- Have strong interest in or experience of digital health/health tech or similar.

Our team is remote first with offices in London and Stockholm. Most of the team lives in and around London and visits the office one to three times per week to enjoy in person meetings, free lunch with the team, and the general perks of a WeWork. The extent of remote vs office working will depend on your role, as some roles have the flexibility to be fully remote.
