We’re Doccla, the virtual ward company. We provide patients and clinicians with the transformative power of remote patient monitoring.

Our existing customers are Hospitals, Community Services, and NHS Commissioners that we partner with to deliver tech enabled virtual wards. With our technology, logistics, and support patients can be discharged from a hospital ward to a virtual one and recover in the comfort of their own homes. Patients love our care pathways and health services become more efficient; it’s a win-win.

We are a young company with big aims and a lot of momentum. In the summer of 2022 we raised $18M in an oversubscribed A round led by General Catalyst, a top tier global VC fund and have gone from strength to strength since: we’ve won a series of large multiyear NHS contracts, extended 100% of our existing client contracts.

Join Doccla’s Leadership Team with overall accountability for selling and implementing Doccla’s Virtual Ward technology in Germany

The Role

You will launch Doccla in Germany! From early market validation and iteration on product-market fit, through defining and implementing efficient ways to grow revenues, to hiring and ensuring the Doccla culture & values are firmly established in the new market teams, you will take ownership and accountability for the success of the launch.

You’ll navigate the true entrepreneurial journey of a country launch, with the full support of the whole organisation to ensure the success. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Corporate teams, leading from the front on every initiative.

How you will contribute:

  • Onboard the best entrepreneurial talent to ensure the success of the German market launch;
  • Build Doccla's understanding of the market, competition, and ideal customer profile to shape the German go-to-market strategy;
  • Do the things that secure and support Doccla's new, and prospective customers
  • Explore, capture, and structure insights from customers and prospects to help shape the product roadmap for Germany, and work closely with product teams to ensure execution of the roadmap supports rapid growth and adoption;
  • Identify the most appropriate way to launch Doccla in Germany, then roll up your sleeves and make it happen - whether sourcing data for demand generation, building networks of local hospitals/trusts, creating and hosting events, good old-fashioned cold-calling, or anything else you can make work.
  • Craft Doccla's positioning to compel prospects & customers to engage with us.
  • Be the connective tissue between the local and HQ teams, and ensure Doccla’s values thrive with all new recruits.
  • Embed & embody the Doccla culture as you build local sales, customer success, and marketing teams to achieve growth targets.

  • Are an entrepreneur at heart, and love working in ambiguous, changing, energetic, start-up working environment.
  • Are intellectually curious, constantly refining how to be best-in-class, and wanting to learn, improve and develop yourself
  • Are an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and can simplify complex topics in a way that anyone can understand.
  • Get things done and are willing to step up, roll up your sleeves and take ownership.
  • Have the curiosity, resilience, and determination to perform a role sitting at the cross-roads of sales, product, marketing and customer success.
  • Always operate with high integrity, high emotional awareness, and subscribe to Doccla’s values
  • Have entrepreneurial experience in a digital product context (SaaS, marketplace etc). Perhaps you're a startup founder, an early stage employee, or leading the international expansion for an established business or launching a new product / division.
  • Have strong experience in digital health/health tech or similar
  • Deep connections within the German healthcare market, including the regulatory environment
  • The role is remote in Germany, but requires a great deal of flexibility, including travel if required.
  • Are a German native speaker or can speak German with professional fluency.

Our team is remote first with offices in London and Stockholm. Most of the team lives in and around London and visits the office one to three times per week to enjoy in person meetings, free lunch with the team, and the general perks of a WeWork. The extent of remote vs office working will depend on your role, as some roles have the flexibility to be fully remote.
