Role:

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to spearhead our dynamic team in evolving AI-based compression technology. The lead will guide the transition of our codec from GPU-based systems to mobile and mid-range platforms, focusing on performance enhancement.

Responsibilities:

• Direct a team to port ML algorithms to edge devices, primarily smartphones.
• Analyse and optimise algorithm performance, targeting data processing bottlenecks.
• Implement and supervise the development of high-performance entropy coding algorithms.
• Employ cutting-edge techniques in neural network optimization.
• Collaborate seamlessly with teams to ensure the smooth execution of implementation projects.

Must have:

• Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in performance optimisation, including leadership roles.
• Expertise in C++ and advanced optimisation techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership in bringing projects from research to deployment
