We are looking for an Accounts Assistant who is passionate about accelerating the growth of our business further. As an Accounts Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function with day-to-day activities; invoice upload & approval process, journal postings & bank reconciliations and correspondence with our vendors. We are looking for a self-starter, who will be diligent, organised and confident.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform manual journal entries for Intercompany Payments, Customer/Vendor Payments and Employee Expenses.
• Assisting with reconciling supplier statements.
• Assisting with submission of AP invoice approvals to budget holders.
• Understanding the P&L accounts to code AP invoices correctly.
• Assisting with expenses and company credit card transactions
• Assisting with weekly Payment Runs for vendors and expenses
• Responding to vendor and customer enquiries for all related matters.
• Perform ad-hoc duties within the accounting department.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly bank rec journal postings & reconciliations.
• Assist in the month-end close processes within the wider finance group.

Skills & Experience:

• Good organisation skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritise multiple entities.
• Able to work flexibly to meet tight deadlines during month end.
• Good attention to detail and able to learn, digest information and problem solve.
• Computer literacy, including confidence using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, accounts payable and Accounts Receivable software (Netsuite).
• Bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
