Your mission at Complori
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, efficient solutions that meet business requirements and are forward-compatible
  • Develop hands-on high-quality code across the stack, maintain and improve learning platform and internal administrative tools
  • Efficiently deploy, scale, and maintain services to ensure uninterrupted service availability, robustness and scalability
  • Engage in proactive problem-solving, addressing both current challenges and anticipating future needs
  • Maintain and evolve our tech stack, ensuring it aligns with our goals and software development best practices
Technology stack:
  • TypeScript, Node.js, Koa
  • React, Next.js, Tailwind, Zustand
  • Jest, Vitest, Cypress, Storybook
  • Firebase (Firestore, Functions), MongoDB
  • Terraform, GitHub Actions
  • Sentry
We are a perfect fit if...
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience developing performant, production-grade web applications and REST APIs
  • Deep understanding of TypeScript and functional programming principles
  • High proficiency in Node.js, React (Next.js or Vite), Firebase, and database management systems (NoSQL, SQL)
  • Solid background in test-driven development using testing libraries and frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress and Firebase Emulators
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture design patterns, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and modern DevOps practices
  • Excellent spoken and written English

Bonus points for
  • Experience integrating monitoring and alert services such as Sentry, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Loki or equivalent
  • Experience integrating complex 3rd party APIs
  • Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis building and event-based analytics
  • Prior experience working in the e-commerce space
  • Prior experience in start-up environments
  • Located in Berlin and prefer a hybrid working environment

How to become part of the Complori team

  1. We are excited to receiving your application with your CV. After our review, we will get in touch with you to schedule a 30-minute interview with you.
  2. In a second interview, you will be able to meet one of the founders to provide you with a deeper insight into our company, vision and goals.
  3. Based on the position, we would love for you to complete a short homework. This could be a coding challenge, a design task or a case study.
  4. In the next interview you will meet your future direct supervisor and present the homework you completed. Afterwards we might ask you for some references.
  5. We will get back to you after a couple of days with our decision, and you are all set to become part of the Complori team!
  6. Your team will be excited to onboard you thoroughly, and you will be meeting everyone at Complori.
