About the Job

We are now looking for an ambitious Team Lead Finance Operations (m/f/d) to lead our Finance Operations team and liaise with customers and suppliers.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 4 AR&AP Specialists

• Harmonize and optimize AR&AP processes across the group

• Drive cash collections and collaborate with senior leadership

• Strategically build and expand shared service center support by outsourcing operational activities

• Drive the project of consolidating various expense tools into a single platform

• Act as the liaison between the organization and domestic and international tax advisors and auditors in accounting and tax matters regarding VAT-Taxes

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable across the group, serving as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders

• Collaborate with other finance team members to enhance overall efficiency.

• Review and implement expense policies for our new entities

• Maintain databases related to accounts receivables and accounts payables, including cleanup of master data.

• Support the integration of Salesforce into Workday

• Engage with suppliers regarding payment processes

• Take charge of the credit note process

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Tax Consulting Agency or an Accounting Department

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in B2B invoicing in an international context

• Expertise in preparing accounts in an international context for tax advisors.

• Excellent knowledge of German Taxation, especially VAT (UstG)

• Proven track record of collaborative success in cross-functional and multicultural environments

• Experience in fast-paced or scaling organizations, preferably startups.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office or Google Docs

• Knowledge of Workday Financials and Salesforce; familiarity with Lucanet is a plus

• Fluent in English and German (advanced); proficiency in French is a plus
