About the Role:
As a Strategic Account Executive at autone, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, responsible for driving new business and managing enterprise accounts within the Americas region. You will work closely with retail executives, overseeing the sales process from outreach to closing while demonstrating how our AI-driven solutions can transform their operations and support their expertise. Your efforts will be crucial in achieving our ambitious growth targets and establishing autone as a leader in AI-driven retail technology.

About the Role:
As a Strategic Account Executive at autone, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, responsible for driving new business and managing enterprise accounts within the Americas region. You will work closely with retail executives, overseeing the sales process from outreach to closing while demonstrating how our AI-driven solutions can transform their operations and support their expertise. Your efforts will be crucial in achieving our ambitious growth targets and establishing autone as a leader in AI-driven retail technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target key enterprise accounts in the retail sector
- Build and manage a growing pipeline of inbound leads to identify, engage, and develop strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Master product demos to present autone's AI-driven solutions, demonstrating their value in improving inventory management and operational efficiency
- Conduct detailed needs assessments and develop tailored solutions to meet customer requirements
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring mutual benefit for both autone and our customers
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to provide customer feedback and influence product development
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system and monitor KPI performance
- Take ownership from Day 1 to execute at your own initiative while we equip you with all the necessary tools and resources
- Constantly learn more about autone platform and retail industry to become a trusted expert for customers
- Are based in NYC
- Can work well as part of a fast-past startup
- Have at least 4 years of experience in sales, preferably within the SaaS sector
- Have experience selling within the Americas market
- Have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing mid to large accounts
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Have strong negotiation and closing skills
- Are a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive account plans
- Are familiar with CRM software and sales tools
- Are passionate about technology with a keen interest in AI and Machine Learning applications
- Have a deep understanding of the retail industry and inventory management challenges or have experience working in/with the retail industry
- Are open to light travel to close deals, if required
- Have experience doing business development
