Lead After-Sales Commercial & Service Supply (m/f/d)
Sales & Business Development
Munich, Germany
About the Role
As Lead After-Sales Commercial & Service Supply, you will build the commercial backbone of the service business. You will own the central logic around contract administration, service supply, costing, pricing, billing, result accounting, post-calculation and ERP requirements. You will translate technical and operational assumptions into a service model that can be quoted, delivered, measured and improved across customer hubs.
What You'll Build
- A commercial service backbone: establish programme administration, contract management, service-order logic, billing and result accounting.
- Repeatable contract kit: build standard service descriptions, commercial positions, adaptation rules and decision boundaries for customer programmes; the Head of After Sales & Service owns the strategic service promise and release.
- Costing and pricing model: define cost elements, rates, risk and margin logic across workshop, field, remote support, parts and availability-related commitments.
- Service-supply system: design assortment, stocking, replenishment, exchange-pool, returns and reverse-logistics logic together with Procurement, Production & Logistics and the customer hubs.
- Export-compliant service fulfilment: act as process owner for the Export Control interface across parts, software, technical support, personnel, tools, test equipment and returns; Export Control remains the specialist approval authority.
- A service-business ERP foundation: define requirements for contracts, service orders as cost carriers, technical objects, warranty separation, customer stock and service-related master data.
- Concurrent costing and post-calculation loop: compare plan and actuals by service order and catalogue position, explain deviations and feed evidence back into rates, prices and risk assumptions.
- A measurable and scalable commercial operation: make margin, working capital, servicesupply performance and customer commitments visible and transferable to future hubs.
What You Bring
- Several years of experience in service commercialisation, after-sales, service operations, programme administration, controlling or supply-chain-related roles for complex products.
- Strong practical experience with costing, pricing, contract administration, billing, result accounting or service ERP design.
- A sound understanding of spare-parts planning, inventory management, replenishment, returns and reverse logistics.
- The ability to connect commercial commitments with operational reality, including lead times, repair concepts, stock levels, customer expectations and risk.
- Experience working across Key Account, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, IT or Export Control.
- High data and process discipline, with the judgement to balance urgency, margin, working capital and compliance.
- A hands-on, build-oriented leadership style and the ability to establish commercial structure where processes are still evolving.
Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
