We are looking for a Product Designer to join our team in Paris. You will work directly with the Product Manager and the Tech Team, shaping and designing Apiday Products. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing tech company determined to make a strong positive impact on the world. 

🌳 About us

The world is changing. In order to succeed companies must now go beyond financial metrics and integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in their strategies and ways of working. At Apiday we are building a collaborative platform for forward-thinking companies to effectively manage their ESG data. Our system allows ESG information to flow easily from company data sources to an expertly curated database, and we need you to help us design it!

🚀 Purpose and Responsibilities

As the first Product Designer at Apiday, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of our products. You will work closely with different teams including Tech and Data Science teams, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and ESG Team to design intuitive and visually appealing solutions that meet the needs of our users and align with our business goals.

Key responsibilities are:

• Translate insights into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Conduct user research to gain a deep understanding of our target audience's needs, pain points, and behaviours.
• Create stunning and cohesive designs that adhere to our brand guidelines and improve the aesthetic of our products
• Collaborate with our Product Manager and Developers throughout the development process to ensure the feasibility of your design ideas and provide necessary design support for the implementation
• Continuously iterate and improve on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis,
• Manage Product releases communication internally, create and maintain documentation of new features
• Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency in design practices

🏋🏽 About You

• Experience: 2-5 years of Product Design experience, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Portfolio: Showcase a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, visual design skills, and successful projects that highlight your problem-solving abilities.
• Design Tools: Proficient in Figma and other similar tools.
• Prototyping Skills: Experienced with prototyping to bring your designs to life and effectively communicate interactions.
• User Empathy: Deeply empathetic towards users, with a passion for understanding their needs and creating meaningful solutions.
• Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and being receptive to feedback.
• Innovative Mindset: Demonstrates a strong interest in design trends, emerging technologies, and a proactive approach to implementing cutting-edge solutions.
• Language: Fluency in English is important since it is our primary working language, and conversational French is a plus since we’re based in Paris
• Goals: Strong desire to work for a purpose-driven tech startup in a dynamic environment
