We are Agro.Club, an international AgTech company successfully operating on three continents. With support of our digital platform we trade major arable crops, both cross country and internationally. Our mission is to connect farmers, buyers, and logistics providers through innovative IT products, including a platform for price analysis, trading, logistics, and document management.

The Project:

We are launching a strategic project to improve our understanding of pricing in the U.S. agricultural market. As an ML Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and deploying machine learning models that help the business make data-driven decisions faster and more confidently. The aim is to build models that help our commercial team to better predict grain price (basis) movements. We expect artificial intelligence and LLMs will enable this capability.

Your role:

• Develop and train machine learning models for price forecasting and predictions, and market analysis;
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to design and implement data pipelines;
• Conduct feature engineering to extract meaningful, predictive insights from large datasets;
• Test and validate predictive models to ensure accuracy and robustness;
• Deploy machine learning models into production and integrate them into business processes;
• Monitor model performance and implement retraining processes as needed.

What We Expect From You:

• Strong skills in Python and SQL;
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch;
• Experience with feature engineering and preprocessing large datasets;
• Knowledge of MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes);
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure;
• A problem-solving mindset and readiness to work on exploratory tasks in uncertain conditions;
• A strong academic background in mathematics;
• Fluent English is an advantage;
• Passion for new, innovative projects;
• Self starter, creative, curious, can-do attititude, results oriented, structured and analytical.
