We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Merchandising Admin, to join our expanding commercial team.

As a Merch Admin, you will be responsible for processing of grain purchase and sales transactions and interacting with internal and external customers on a daily basis. You will work closely together with Grain Merchandisers, in order to efficiently complete the contract to cash process.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Process grain purchase and sales transactions
  • Accumulate all required documentation for processing (tickets, bill of lading, weight certificates, grade certificates, invoices)
  • Verify the accuracy of weights, grades, discounts, program charges, and freight liability
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Agro.Club CRM & accounting system
  • Communicate with customers to resolve payments, past due accounts, and document discrepancies
  • Collaborate within the commercial team to provide full back-office support for all transactions

Critical requirements

  • Relevant background and understanding of agriculture trading
  • Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally
  • Basic knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and propose solutions
  • Ability to prioritize multiple, detail oriented tasks and meet strict daily deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
