We’re looking for an experienced Talent Partner/Recruiter to join 9amHealth as a full-time team member, helping us attract and hire top talent to support our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of our hiring processes, build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and contribute to shaping the future of 9amHealth. Experience with Ashby and a background in clinical recruiting are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Candidate Management

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment. Guide candidates smoothly through every step of the process, from first contact to offer acceptance, providing clarity and support at every stage.

  • Keep candidates fully informed and genuinely engaged throughout the hiring journey, authentically connecting them to 9amHealth’s mission, values, and vision.

  • Oversee relationships with temporary staffing agencies or recruiting partners, coordinating efforts to fill immediate hiring needs efficiently. Ensure clear communication on role requirements, evaluate agency performance, and manage costs to support consistent and high-quality placements.

  • Proactively build and nurture a diverse network of potential candidates through authentic connections, creating a robust pipeline of high-quality, engaged prospects.

Onboarding and New Hire Preparation

  • Ensure all prescreening steps—such as reference checks, background checks, and credential verifications—are completed accurately and on time.

  • Collect and verify the accuracy of all required documents, including offer letters and PIIA forms, ensuring compliance and readiness for onboarding.

  • Act as a bridge between recruiting, HR, IT, and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and seamless transition from candidate to employee.

  • Communicate with IT or designated teams to ensure laptops and other necessary equipment are ordered, configured, and shipped to the new hire prior to their start date.

  • Submit and track system access requests for tools such as email, Slack, HR systems, and any role-specific software.

Collaboration and Strategic Insights

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to deeply understand the role, team dynamics, and the ideal candidate profile, ensuring alignment with team needs.

  • Provide insights into hiring timelines, candidate availability, and market trends, helping to proactively plan for future team needs. Estimate lead times for hiring and training to ensure the team is prepared to succeed.

  • Track key recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate pipeline stages, to establish benchmarks and refine recruiting processes for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with clinical or healthcare recruiting highly valued.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Ashby) and collaboration tools like Slack and Google Workspace.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage candidates and collaborate with teams effectively.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a startup or high-growth setting.

  • Passion for 9amHealth’s mission and the ability to connect candidates to our values and vision.
